my giant plant! (it's not a metaphor)

so last week when it was horribly windy, my favorite plant, a giant celosia, got ripped out of the ground. i was PISSED because this thing had grown to almost 5 feet in just a few months and it was gorgeous.
i attempted to put it into a pot for preservation, but that plan majestically failed, and i had to send it to the garden in the sky, courtesy of the trashcan across the street.

so r.i.p. beautiful plant. i hope you show up again next year.
