to the greatness of mariokart.
we were making our usual saturday morning run in target today, and i noticed that they had completely filled up all the (usually empty) slots in their game shelves. lo and behold, i spied mario kart, a game which my sweet husband has been hunting for weeks. so, we scored him a copy and i played for about 5 minutes before i realized i am the most competitive asshole on the planet. so i quit to let him revel in the glory of being better than i am without me yelling "damnit!!" every time some jerk pushed me off the edge.
in other news, a girl who has is the cause of a lot of the negativity in my group at work put in her 2 weeks yesterday. woo-hoo! not only does it slightly increase my work looad (go job security!) but i think it will also alleviate some of the animosity in the group. it's hard to go from super crazy bored to swamped again.
no word yet on another job i applied for, but i've been praying about it, and it's not in my hands. if i'm meant to stay on-board the titanic that is fkso, then sobeit. :)
