and i have to say, i found a winner:

in three weeks we will be enjoying the lush splendors of london and dublin for a week! i am SO nervous and excited that i just barely can't stand it.
i bought the tickets last night and immediately went into panic mode about being able to plan things, find good restaurants, not be another crappy american tourist etc etc. poor scott. my single-mindedness about planning is insane. i bought the travel guides, posted to the advisor forums and have made a few paper lists of things to do and see. i of course am always open to ideas and suggestions of those who have been there before me, so please don't hesitate if you have any clues.
i guess the biggest concern right now involves VAT. somebody help me with this crap. if you know ANYTHING about this elusive procedure, your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
aaaaaaanywho, my pursuit of ultimate goal weight continues and i purchased the nike plus system today to facilitate some "away from the gym" time. i used it this morning for a run and i don't know if it's wrong or if i was just blowing it out of the water, but my run time has increased exponentially! high five to me!
the dog was having too much fun smelling every piece of anything on the ground, so he got relegated to scottwalk while i finished. i do love having the lake right across the street - makes for a nice view and great background. for now.
i'm sure when it gets to be screaming hot again i'll just curse it out "why do you create mosquitos in your stagnant pools, awful lake? whywhywhy?????"
let's hope it doesn't come to that.
