quirks

you've seen the listing, just go with it

1. i count syllables/steps by placing my index finger against my thumb and pressing. or curling my toes. i know, i know.
2. when i make the bed with clean sheets, there can be NO wrinkles. i just put the sheets on myself because it's easier than trying to explain to someone that it needs to be tighter. no, tighter than that. pull the slack, scott. c'mon - look at all that extra!
3. i don't sit in the middle of couches unless there is a person on both sides of me, and they're close. creeps me out.
4. i love going through the mail. junk, bills, flyers, whatever - i love looking through it. i'm who they advertise to: "why yes, a cream that eliminates the scars i don't have DOES seem like a worthwhile purchase!"
5. i read every single sign or billboard that i pass while in the car. or try to read it if i'm going too fast.
6. if i'm reading a long series of books, my mindset changes to the time period/frame of reference in which the book was written. please see harry potter and the dark tower for references. i have at one point in time thought about worlds in which children attend magic school and cowboys travel time for epic quests.
