well...crap

i wanted to keep up with this. i really really did.

i'll be better. mostly because in my downtime i read everyone else's blog, and it's not fair to expect you guys to keep up and totally slack, so...

yah

well san francisco was a total blast. when you live in dallas, you don't *really* know what a big city can look like, and san francisco is a GIANT city. if you've never been, i highly recommend it, as it has a little bit for everyone. go see the bartender at the daily grill. get a cosmo. get drunk.

when we got back, we commenced with the inevitable yard chores that had been piling up for awhile. the downfall of new homes is that the landscaping package is usually totally bogus, and you really don't want to look just like your neighbors. so we spent a few weeks digging it all up, replacing the crap with good, laying edging, fertilizing, tilling, mulching etc.

just imagine that there were two trees and a whole row of crappy ratty bushes in the front yard. now that you're caught up, peruse the pictures at your leisure.

gardening did make me realize that calloway's is a very, VERY dangerous place. i will not even disclose the amount of money that i dropped there, but i will say that only two of the plants i purchased died, and that was due to that b.s. frost we got so late in march. wtg weatherpeople.

i promise to be more entertaining, and a little more prompt, in the future.
