and so far we've done just about nothing. brought a flat of plants down to our friends jenny and roger as an (8 month late) housewarming gift. rewarded ourselves for driving to burleson by eating at babe's. awesomeawesomeawesome food. it's definitely not for the everyday, but it's a nice treat.
we are trying to acclimate the dog to his bitchin new dog pool. that is, the plastic blue kiddie pools they sell for children, we've filled with water for our spoiled dog. he loves getting in and hunting for the sinker balls we got him, but doesn't like to lay in it yet. we're working on it. he's an inside dog so he doesn't know the tribulation of being outdoors in 100 degree heat for more than 3-5 minutes. brat.
and of course, because we don't have a pool, we get in our suits and sit in the dog pool(s), throwing the sinker balls at each other. or at least that's what we did this afternoon. :) i'll have to see if i can get some pictures. then again, maybe not because they're really blackmail and why would i do that to myself?

You know the pool up here in *Canada* is open to you anytime you want to come up. All we do on the weekends is swim.
