meetings

as a victim of the corporate mindset, i'm used to having to attend 32 innocuous meetings a week. planning, devising, sorting, speaking, informing, deciding...all kinds of dumb crap that won't mean a thing because the *real* people in charge will change their minds tomorrow anyway.
but what cruel bastard schedules meetings at 4pm or 8am? it's just awful, and there is no end in sight.
i know, i know...be thankful you have a job, i got it.

tons of birthdays in may, apparently. maybe even more than april! we've got par-tays damn near every saturday night this month, and a graudation party sprinkled in there somewhere. i hate having busy weekends. only because i really enjoy sleeping in and doing next to nothing sometimes. don't get me wrong, productive weekends wear better on the soul, but nothing weekends are just so damn relaxing!

p.s. having no desire to spend time cleaning is apparently not the right reason to get a maid. or at least that's what scott said. :)
